The Perth & District Badminton Association operates a league in which clubs from the local area compete. The league is split into two divisions. Each league team comprises six players, usually four gents and two ladies, although the same individuals need not necessarily play in each match. League matches comprise a mix of gents doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles.
The Club has four teams in the league in 2024/25: Glenearn A and Glenearn B play in Division 1 while Glenearn C and Glenearn D play in Division 2.

The Perth & District Badminton Association operates cup competitions . The cup competitions are handicapped meaning that each team should have an equal chance of winning the competition (that's the theory anyway!).
For the first time in 2023/24, Glenearn also entered a team in the Badminton Scotland Scottish Cup.

Usually once a year, the Perth & District Badminton Association holds a fun mixed doubles tournament. This takes place on a single night, is open to anyone to enter and the double pairings are drawn out of a hat. A good number of players from the Club have participated in this fun tournament in recent years.

The Club itself runs tournaments for its members from time to time. These are usually fun, informal affairs that take place on a regular Club night.
Sadly, our Club President, John Grant, passed away in 2020. In his memory, the John Grant Memorial Cup is now be presented each year to the winners of our annual Club competition.

Several of our players participate in other tournament, such as badminton ladders in Dundee, Dunfermline and Crieff, and Badminton Scotland tournaments in Glasgow and elsewhere.
